The 2nd moral & charcter education lecturers training of Bakyak-Hue of 2019 was held on 13 and 14 of August at the Dosan Sewon Confucianist Scholar Training Center in Andong. In the training prepared for enriching the moral & character education through information and know-how sharing among lecturers and providing an opportunity to experience traditional Korean culture, 54 lecturers representing regional committees nationwide were attended. During the training, exemplary lectures with the parents, elementary school students and middle school students as target audiences were given by Incheon, Daejeon and Gyeonggi regional committees and discussions were made on developing and using training materials. Special lectures by Mr. Kim Byung-il, chairman of the Board of Dosan Sewon Confucianist Scholar Training Center, and Mr. Kim Jong-gil, the Center's president were also given during the training, and a visit to the Toegye's Head House and a conversation with the eldest grandson of the family was made. (Toegye: 退溪 李滉, 1501~1570, a renouned neo-Confucian scholar) In his welcoming address, Dr. Lee Yong-Tae thanked the participating lectures for the steady increase of the Bakyak-Hue’s moral & charcter education participants, which owes to their passion and dedication, and asked them to meet and communicate regulary and to continue the happiness sharing.
