Dr. Lee Yong-Tae lectured on the 'Practical Confucianism Movement(實踐儒學運動)' at a conference held during the 8th ceremony admiring the late Sir. SimSan Kim Chang Sook(心山 金昌淑, 1879 ~ 1962), a patriot, educator and a confucianist who founded and served as the first president of SungKyunKwan(成均館) university. The conference and the ceremony were held on Sept. 9, at SungJoo, Kyungsang Buk-do, the birth place of SimSan.
In the lecture, Dr. Lee explained the spirit of the Practicing Confucianism Movement and how we can practice reverence(敬) in our daily life. Dr. Lee also served as the officiating person(初獻官) during the ceremony and paid respect to the late Sir. Kim Chang Sook.
